Ikea Day with Girlfriends

To avoid cramming, we decided to sort out some stuff for new year's church banquet. We went to Ikea to buy something decent as prizes for games. The weather was extremely cold, that God we enjoyed it though we stayed and walked long distances that strained our legs and feet out. At least we did something worthwhile. 1 weekend down, 8 weekends more before YC at Napoli! Hurah!

Rest!

Its a gloomy day today and honestly days like this makes me sick. However, I thank God that it's Sabbath. Sabbath will really make a big difference! I guess that this day is a bit extraordinary. Im happy seeing old friends who came back, new faces and great experience and something to look forward too in the next weeks.. One more thing, I was blessed with the lecture done by our Pastor regarding salvation. Im now regaining my spirituality back. Im doing good, yey!
Tomorrow will be Ikea day!! Will be buying stuff for the banquet! Exciting!!

SweetTooth + DIY Jersey Bracelet

Last night, my brother and I had a quick grocery shopping because were running out of snacks and pikapika as stomach savers (FYI,we will die if we don't have any!). So, we got these super cute meringhe pack that costs less than the ones we usually buy. So, we gave it a try. t'was so delish! But has a different taste because these are oven baked (as described..)
AND! One more thing! I got a chance to see some tutorials on youtube so I got motivated in doing something cute for myself. It is actually called, jersey friendship bracelets and are super easy to do if you know how to braid. Love handcrafts! I'll soon try some of the bracelets if I do have the materials on hand. Exciting!
That's all for the day. Tomoroow is another bright day for me. 2 DAYS MORE TO MY BIRTHDAY!

Ikea Day with Family (with Photos!)

Super happy to visit Ikea again with family. As I said, one of the happiest places on earth (..of course next to Disneyland, Philippines, Home!) Bought a few stuff and overwhelmed by their new items and textile designs. Aside from that, we ate a LOT! I got satified with loads of meatballs and amazing sidedip! Tummyached literally! After a long walk, going back and turns we finally arrived in this place. Sabbath with the bros and sis of other North italian churches. Great spiritual experience. Blessed!

Sick

September welcomes me with a cold weather. Cold season usually starts after my birthday but I guess things turned out the other way these past 3 days. As a result, here I am, feeling super ill! I wish this goes off until I wake up tomorrow morning for my first day of work. Wish me luck!

Jogging Challenge of the Week

I just had my 4th day of my fitness challenge for summer. Since I don't have any plans of going out of the country this summer I guess this would make me a bit busy for my entire vacation. I love eating, and since I am short, gaining too much weight would make me look drastic aka human pumpkin. For 3 days, Miumiu (a cocker spaniel,10mons) joined us. She too loves to run and run! Wish me luck!!!

Sunday Rain, the after Quake and the Long Nap

Okey, it's been 3 sundays already that we are having a hard time with this weather instability. I just wish that the next would be better, no rain pls though weather previsions that it will.
I woke up reallu late today, and did a few stud before heading to QT8 and too bad it raine just right after I came out of the metro. I'm glad that the church people know how to adjust and still manage to enjoy the rain tru potluck and small chats. For me, that is reallu important.
We went home after a few hours and when I got back home, i slept for 2 hours... I feel revived!
Tomorrow is another week Lord! I dedicate his week all unto Him!! Cheers!

Sabbath Day is a Happy Day

What a great sabbath day today. I came to church late for sone medical reason but I thank God that He still blesaed this day with so much joy and peace. After the sabbathday service, we had a Youth get-together which we do monthly @ tito abe and tita pina's humble home. We had a worthwhile activitu, a minidevo and of course lots of food... Its a good bonding time and we gained a new friend from France/London. We went home late but yes, we did enjoy the day! Can't wait for the next sabbath.. Sportsfest tomorrow!

I Survived this Week!

It's friday tomorrow, and I'm trying to think back the things I did to for this entire week to be settled... I got a flu (viral thing!) , fixed some appointments for vaccinations and had may clearance (for my tiro) and patched things up with my job.
Despite the hard, challenging week, i strongly believe that Someone out there is helping me, yes, God. I can strongly feel his presence with me, I got a lot blessings and miracles this week, to the point that I thought that I don't deserve it. But God's love and mercy, and faithfullness is greater than I am.. Thank you Lord, for keeping an guiding me!
Im looking for a restful and blessed weekend.... I love this day! ;)

One more thing... It is such a blessing having a baby! And my friend just got hers,... Goodnews!

I'm on Sick leave!

All day at home today. Still thinking if I would attend my course. Maybe I should... My throat aches like hell and I feel so weak. Tomorrow is my due for the PPD test, and I believe a miracle happened again! Thanks God!

Back on Tract

So, I'm trying to figure out some stuff on my phone and I finally decided to install this app... Haven't updated this page for a long time! Nahhh.. This is a place where I go back and hop in every once in a while..
My last post was about my dog, Miu. She's 8months now and learning a lot! She's still a pup, so he does a lot of silly things still. But the good thing is she learned how to keep her bladder and to hold on her cacca until we take him out for a walk.
I'm actually sick right now.. I had a stressful week and I guess my body tries to stop me. Time to rest, no work for tomorrow. Sick leave!

Meet Miumiu!

I love dogs. We used to own house dogs in the Philippines. The first family dog that we had was Jaworski, I can clearly picture that dog in my mind. He's a huge white askal we had when I was still 4 years old He's named after Rober Jaworski, a famous basketball coach. After Jawo, more dogs came into our lives (I can't recall their names tho').

I've been thinking of owning a dog here in Italy for the past days. I'm clearly aware that owning a dog in a far far away land is really expensive, it's like adding a new family member in the house. I have finally decided to get one after my parents approval. (Thanks Mama & Papa!)

I checked every corners of the cyber space to check on what dogs fits me best. I prefer toy dogs from the start, dogs that I can bring anywhere without giving pain in the ass. I first though of getting a Pincher. These dogs are awesome, they look so smart. Funny thing about these dogs is that they are not aware that they are small (compare to other dogs), so they act like they're the boss.

Then, one breed of dog came into my mind. I suddenly scanned through a pet shop site & saw some puppies of dogs, different breeds. I instantly fell in love with that black dog with these huge floopy ears (with curly hair). I find them so cute, and yes, I have finally decided (with all heart & soul) to get a Cocker Spaniel Inglese.

Last November 13, 2011, I finally got her. I got her from one of the Cocker Spaniel Breeders from Bergamo. This way I'm sure that I got the 100% breed. I named her Miumiu after a luxury line of apparels (Prada). The sound of the name seems like a cat but NOPE, it's a dog. I find it cute & she learned her name in a snap. The first days of her in the house is a huge trouble. Since she's still a baby, she can't contain yet her pupù and pipi. After a week in the house & after giving her sometime to get used to doing poopies outside our house, she finally got the habit of doing his business outside, 3x a day after meals. 

She's a lovely dog, no regrets at all. :)

Looking Back: The Friendly People of Switzerland

Know what, what I like about the people in Switzerland is that they seem so kind & fond with the brown races (ahem!) -- . From the small town of Einsiedeln up to Bern, I've seen a lot of Swiss who smiled & offered a lot of help (taking pictures, giving way, etc). One of the reasons why I fell in love with the country.

If you are living in Italy, Switzerland is the most accesible coutry you can ever get to visit (a day, not just even a day!) I have all the means to go to Switzerland, but due to job & time constraints, I just couldn't. So, last November 1, I feel like I wanted to give in and go visit this neighboring country.
PS. A heard a lot of people say ("Ano switzerland lang eh!"). Well, I tell you whoever you are. Where were you last November 1? In your house? In Milan? Duh, oh well, I had a great out of the country trip!
